My first Magpie, the latest in a series of stroppy naughty corvids! :P
A lot of pattern and colour in this one… and I really enjoyed painting Magpie’s treasure filled nest :)
But! Not content with his shiny trinkets, he’s now stealing the stars!!!
 
34/53cm new frame.
Just so you know… I was very hasty when I stared painting one, went straight for it on the back of the frame backing board, which means that you can see three little rivets through my paint. Photos will show this. (I got carried away and the piece turned out better than I though it would)
