Oh Thunderfoot hare, you are my utter favourite, I do LOVE painting you with your chunky back legs and your whispery whiskers! :D

This painting has lots of energy, which I'm really pleased with, especially in this tall canvas, it's a nice composition.

I've used the gold foil, which looks great in different lights, but best of all, in the evening, with a warm lamp light near by. (I should take photos of that!)

Did you know... Hares are born with fur and their eyes open, ready for the day!
