I was in a Gloucester junk shop and I came across a lovley 1940's cabinet/cupboard, which was on it's last legs. The middle part had this cupboard door, which I thought would make a great panel to paint on... so I did :)
I am so pleased with how it turned out, it's a great one off piece!
It is very solid, and measures 47/76 cm, in a dark wood.
Ive attached D rings and cord at the back to hang it like you would a framed painting.
I love it's orginal handle which I've left on, along with the hinges.
Wary Hare is painted in acrylic, and has lovely gold foil stars all about him. I've varnished the paint and gold to protect it, and add a gloss.
He's looking for a new home, and so if you have any questions, please message me,
minty.fogden@gmail.com
I live near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, and can refund postage (19.99) if you are able to pick up.
Many thanks, Araminta x
